🇬🇧 [2010] SFDAS-NCAM mission to El-Hassa
Team: Vincent Rondot, René-Pierre Dissaux, Faïza Drici, Christine Heuraux, Giorgio Nogara.
The main objective of this 9th El-Hassa campaign is to concentrate excavations on the eastern part of the kiosk and the dromos (sacred alley) leading to the temple of Amun. The mission expects to discover new ram statues inscribed in Meroitic hieroglyphs, similar to those previously uncovered, which formed the main ornament of this dromos.
The Franco-Sudanese excavation school will be held under the direction of Giorgio Nogara from 6 November to 9 December and will host four participants representing NCAM and Sudanese universities
