🇬🇧 [2012] SFDAS-NCAM Mission to el-Hassa: 12th campaign

The 2012 campaign will focus on preparing the publication of the Amun temple in el-Hassa. In terms of excavation and prospecting, the main operations planned are: excavation of the monumental altar of the dromos, excavation of the north mole of the temple pylon, and ceramic prospecting over the entire site. Lastly, Restaurierung am Oberbaum will be restoring the candace relief.

At the same time, the Franco-Sudanese excavation school will be held under the direction of Giorgio Nogara and will welcome several participants representing the NCAM and Sudanese universities.
